Kristy Dana Gish is a native Montanan who received her first set of paints at age ten. Within a few years Kristy discovered that painting was a passion of hers that would never fade. Throughout high school Dana had started to show and sell her work in Montana and Hawaii. She graduated from the University of Montana in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and within a few years had achieved success beyond that of most young artists. Local Businesses, such as Summit Beverage, Missoula Parks and Recreation, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters commissioned Kristy to showcase her talent for large auctions and benefits. Dana also began showcasing her work in one of Bigfork's most distinguished galleries, Art Fusion. Kristy Dana Gish has been featured in several Montana Magazines and looks forward to expanding on to the national scene.
Many of Kristy's acrylic paintings in the Gallery show her achievement in its true richness and diversity. Her bright and vibrant artwork is characterized by fluid movement between figurative and abstract, while setting her apart from other artists. Kristy Dana Gish approaches her artwork with fresh eyes every time and with the same energy and vitality as her life.
